David writes: "I have been writing poetry for years but never shared any. I am 33 and I love God."
We are like a mere breath, a passing shadow,
Here today gone
tomorrow.
The people waist their life in the box they
built around themselves,
Wearing that frown; thinking they own the crown.
Pain they
can't figure out.
They
touch no one and no one touches them
They keep
all their love for themselves
They get
none in return
Missing out on what life is and that is love.
Blessed
be the Lord, my rock
My
fortress my stronghold and my deliverer
My shield
and in He who I take refuge
God is
love.

How many wars have been fought,
How many battles won
For how many songs been sung
Or bells rung.
It's all for one and one for none
We never learn, with this we'll burn.
One war fought but never to end
None won times undone.
One song sung, a song for God,
To sing for Christ.
Listen to the song and learn from the past
Until Christ returns nothing will last.
